The 5th EU-CELAC Business Summit will take place on 10 June 2015 in Brussels, gathering entrepreneurs from the two regions under the theme "Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean: Promoting inclusive and sustainable growth by enhancing the role of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises", in preparation to the EU-CELAC Summit of Heads of State and Government. Moreover, a matchmaking event will take place on 12 of June in Milán.
Business groups’ role is fundamental for the progress of economic cooperation on the international level. This event will therefore offer the possibility to members of the private sector from both regions to discuss topics such as international trade, foreign investment and the construction of a strategic partnership between them.
