The 56th International Congress of Americanists (ICA) takes place in Salamanca from the 15th to the 20th of July of 2018, under the motto “Universality and particularism in the Americas”. This edition of the ICA invites us to reflect on the relationship between universality and particularism in the production of knowledge, a dialogue in which the need to know the idiosyncrasies of social, political, artistic, and cultural phenomena, leads us to create new hypotheses in order to enrich and rethink grand social theories in the sciences and the humanities.
The EU-LAC Foundation participates in the Round table "The construction of the Euro-American and Caribbean space for higher education and innovation".
