FGV's Center for International Relations, in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) and the European Union Delegation in Brazil, organise the 4th European Week. The week consists of two events: the “4th Europe Day Conference - The European Union and the Challenges of Sustainable Development”, a series of panels in which European and Brazilian experts will debate different aspects of sustainable development in a changing European and international context and will focus on the political developments in the region; and the 4th School on the European Union which will encourage graduate students and young professionals, together with scholars and experts from Europe and the United States, to reflect on a broad range of topics and issues such as sustainability and urban studies, security within the European Union, the European Union's relations with Latin America and global governance.
