From 25 to 26 April 2013, the student consultancy company Connosco e.V is organizing the 3rd Cologne Latin America Symposium with the title “Latin America. Determined towards the future. Democracy, Economy and Development”. The event will take place at the company’s headquarters in Cologne.
Since the turn of the millennium Latin America has been gaining more and more international interest and has been becoming an attractive location for enterprises worldwide. In the framework of the symposium, experts from the economic and political world will present and discuss the new international role of Latin America. Moreover they will talk about the existing structural problems of the region such as poverty, violence and corruption and present possible solutions.
