Executive Director of the EU-LAC Foundation, Ms Paola Amadei, visited this week to the Slovakian capital, Bratislava. It was the first official visit to the country and aimed at building closer contacts with local counterparts.
The citywide stops included the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Culture and Education, as well as the Comenius and Pan-European Universities, and Platform for Development NGOs – Ambrela. The Executive Director met also the Ambassadors of Brazil and Cuba, the only Latin American diplomats resident in Bratislava. Interviews with the English, French, German and Spanish Newsroom of Radio Slovakia International completed the visit.
Common to all interlocutors was the interest for stronger relations with Latin American and Caribbean partners.
