Over 20 years of working experience in international development in the areas of public sector management, fiscal affairs, democratic governance, inclusive growth & sustainable development. Previously worked as consultant at the Fiscal Management Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), in the technical supervision of lending operations for sub-national governments. He has served as Governance Advisor & Deputy Head of Office for the UK Government's Department for International Development (DFID) in Brazil. He has also worked as a consultant at the FGV, FIA/USP, FESPSP & FUNDAP in various projects for the modernisation of public policies in Latin America & Africa.
